The technology used in the Continental Pro Contact is meant for stable driving; dependable cornering and excellent grip in wet and dry conditions while aiming towards maintaining tire tread longevity. In order for the Continental Pro Contact to perform in such a manner, Continental Tire designed it with an asymmetric tread that serves in the responsiveness of the tire, a ribbed tread that maintains a wide contact patch with the road all while creating a quiet comfortable ride. The Continental Pro Contact has numerous channels on the outer portion of the tread in order for the resistance of hydroplaning and the promotion of water displacement.
